Moving Forward with the Woodland Strategy
The Woodland Strategy is a partnership approach to strengthening the forestry sector in the Scottish Borders. The project will achieve 4 sub-projects: ‘non spruce timber resources: potential to develop new markets and businesses’, ‘investigation into the timber resources available in the Scottish Borders’, ‘promotion of woodlands around towns’ and ‘promotion of woodlands to develop the forest habitat network’ (£30,000).
